Upgrading the Synthetic Pitch at Harvest Home Recreation Reserve

The Harvest Home Road soccer precinct is situated in Epping, and plays an important role in soccer within the City of Whittlesea. It consists of four soccer pitches, including our international standard facility in Epping Soccer Stadium and is home to Whittlesea’s only National Premier League (Victoria) club, the Whittlesea Rangers.

To enhance sport and recreation facilities and provide more participation opportunities for our rapidly growing community, renewal of the synthetic pitch at the Harvest Home Road facility is considered a high priority by Council. This is supported by the recent sporting and community pavilion upgrade which provides for inclusive community spaces.

Council is wanting to further understand how the upgraded synthetic soccer pitch could be utilised by the broader community, and how to better connect community with this site outside of traditional soccer opportunities.
