Creative Plan update

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback via our survey, by sharing their creative ideas or submitting an expression of interest to be part of a reference group.

With your ideas, Council has developed a creative plan to help guide how we support local events, festivals, arts programs, and opportunities for people to be creative and share their culture and stories.

The Final Creative Plan will be available to view on this page when approved.

  • Provide spaces, venues, programs, and services for the community to express themselves and enjoy

  • Create more opportunities for people to be creative and share their culture and stories

  • Bring people together through arts, culture, and events

  • Help the local economy grow and create jobs

  • Support local artists, performers, and creative businesses

  • Make sure the plan reflects the needs of the community
