Council is planning for the future of our land and property to ensure it continues to meet the needs of our growing and changing community.

• The draft Strategic Property and Land Plan 2025-2030 will guide how Council manages public land and buildings, making sure they’re used effectively, sustainably and in line with community priorities.
• The draft Affordable Housing Plan 2025-2030 will update Council’s approach to supporting more affordable housing in the municipality, with a stronger focus on the role of Council-owned land.

These two plans are being developed together to ensure a coordinated, long-term approach to how we use property and land to support the delivery of community infrastructure, services, and strategic outcomes - such as housing.

The draft Strategic Property and Land Plan and draft Affordable Housing Plan provide a framework to guide future decisions, but they do not commit to specific sites or projects at this stage.
