The Lalor Master Plan, developed in consultation with the community, recommends improving the appearance and safety of the precinct to encourage more people to visit for their shopping, business and personal needs.
As Council begins to look at upgrading Tramoo Street, we would like your thoughts on the proposed upgrades, which include:
- Change to 45-degree angled parking on High Street;
- New meeting area with trees and seating;
- Opportunity to promote alfresco dining;
- Safer pedestrian crossings for Tramoo, Hurtle and Howell streets; and
- New pavement outside shops and upgraded pathways.
