About the Youth Council
The City of Whittlesea's Youth Council will be a dynamic and influential group of young individuals aged between 12 and 22. Whether you live, work, or study within our municipality, if you're passionate about making a difference, we invite you to join us.
Each term on the Youth Council spans two years, allowing you the flexibility needed to balance your work, study or personal commitments.
Your Responsibilities as a Youth Councillor

Create opportunities for youth engagement with the Council and ensure your voices are heard.

Advocate for the interests, challenges, and opportunities faced by young people in our municipality.

Offer vital input and feedback on matters referred from the Council before formal decisions are made.
