The City of Whittlesea has developed a draft concept plan for the new Hill Top Playground and Splash Park to offer additional choices for recreational activities locally. We have included your feedback from the first round of consultation and we are seeking additional feedback on draft concept plan.

This project will be delivered by the City of Whittlesea and supported by the Federal Government through the Investing in Our Communities Program, and the Victorian Government through the Better Parks and Playgrounds Program and the Community Support Fund.

The concept plan includes upgraded public toilets, shelter and seating, drinking fountains, an extended car park, landscaping and new lighting.

Draft concept plan developed - tell us what you think

We invite the community to view the draft concept plan of the splash pad and playground and share their thoughts with us in the quick poll to the right of screen or alternatively come along to one of our community pop-ups and speak to us in person.

Following community feedback, we will develop a draft concept plan and seek further feedback in early 2024.

What we heard in Phase 1 consultation

We have received feedback on the play and water play elements the community would like to see included in the concept plan. We heard slides, balance, climbing, water arches, ground jets and mist were the favourites, which are all incorporated in the design.

Additional information on the engagement activities are summarised in the Engagement summary from Phase 1 including how we engaged community and the feedback we received to inform the draft concept plan.
